My painting pal, Pattie, offered us a selection of photos she took of her kid's shoes to help kick us (read "me") into gear to start painting again! Well, it worked, here is my finished painting......thanks Pattie!
Wendy: These are wonderful! Looks like you poured some paint first. The colors are magnificent. I've been contemplating doing another Converse painting and you've inspired me.
Thanks Tim. It does look poured doesn't it? Actually I just did a lot of mask and then used a quick wash of three colors (Peacock Blue, Primary Yellow and Opera) and let them do their thing. After it was dried I removed the mask and put in the darks. That's all there is to it.
